Scope of the Master program
A key prerequisite for the formulation and implementation of an effective water policy for those purposes mentioned above, is the interdisciplinary approach to challenges. It is necessary not only to explore both the quantitative and qualitative aspects of management, but also to consider relevant policies (energy, agricultural, etc.), to use appropriate tools (e.g. finances) and to promote the participation of the water users concerned and the wider community in decision-making.
Such an integrated approach requires the training of executives with an appropriate combination of expertise and interdisciplinary and the promotion of research in the relevant scientific fields. These needs are intended to be met by the Inter-departmental Program of Postgraduate Studies “Water Resources Science and Technology” of NTUA.
